| The
Lightning canopy is a molded, stretch formed acrylic bubble made from
top quality raw stock by one of the most experienced canopy makers in
the business. It will be slightly oversize and minor trimming will
be required. The canopy is well supported by a "C" channel frame
and opens easily with the help of two gas struts at the outboard edges
of the canopy. Support at the outboard edge provides more
stability when opening the canopy on windy days. A positive latch
with a partially open position will help keep the cockpit cool during
taxi & run up on hot days. |
