Lightning wings are pre molded and come ready for pre installation work.
Spar is installed, wing tanks are located in the wings, all ribs are
installed. Notice the PVC conduit for wing wiring for lighting or
wing tip antennae. A fuel tank sump fitting is installed.
Forward and rear wing attach points are thickly reinforced. Rear &
forward attachment is by AN5 bolts. |

| Wing
fitting inspection holes are molded into the bottom wing skin and a
cover is supplied. Flap attach brackets are installed precisely
into the wing and no bending or adjustment will be required. Fuel
withdrawal fittings are bonded into each tank |

| Notice
the fuel vent pipe at the ourboard end of the wing. It is ready
for attachment of a Andair check valve and will provide a positive vent
from the highest point in the tank. Wing tips are molded with
smooth gel coat and are ready for installation after a light trim.
Wing tips are one of the few processes that require some epoxy bonding. |
